What download type is it?

First you need to know which download type you are dealing with before you can learn how to download to files.

Torrent

Torrent topics in WarezNET will have the icon next to them and should be in the Torrents forum

FTP

FTP topics in WarezNET will have the icon next to them.

HTTP

HTTP direct links in WarezNET will have the icon next to them.

Rapidshare, Megaupload and other free hosts

Free host links will have one of the following icons next to them:

How do you download?

Now you know the download type, you can start downloading. All the different download methods are explained here.

Thanking topics

Some topics will have a message "[thanks] tags has been used!". You need to click on the Thank Topic button next to the Post Reply button. After this the download URL will be shown where the previous message appeared.

"You do not have the permissions to thank this topic"

Do not panic! If you get this message, then read the instructions below the message carefully as it's easy to get rid of this message. You will need to do the following to gain the permissions to thank to topic:

• You must click the Vote to promote button in the top left corner. You then need to read the alert instructions and click OK. Then follow the instructions on the new window to vote for WarezNET.
• Post more topics and posts. A minimum of 3 and preferably over 100.
• You should come on the WarezNET IRC channel to chat.
• You are required to set an avatar for your profile. To do this go to your User CP.
