Getting Started

There are a number of sections to WarezNET, but the main part of WarezNET is its forum. The forum works like all other online forums where users make topics (also known as threads) and post replies to topics. The main theme around WarezNET is sharing as we are a sharing community.

Registration on WarezNET is free or you can pay depending on what account you would like how how long you want your subscription to last. To read more about registering click here.

You are required to be logged into WarezNET to view the forums. The login page is located here. If you are having problems logging in then click here.

How do I use this manual?

The manual is broken down to different sections to help you find the information you need to know about WarezNET. You can use the menu which is on the right side of all the manual pages.

Forums

Being able to navigate and use the forum is probably the most important thing to know to get the most out of WarezNET.

• Browsing and navigating through the forums is important to find what you need.
• Searching with help you quickly locate a topic or download.
• Downloading after you've found your topic is a necessity on a sharing forum.
• The Forums are listed here, explaining what topics should be posted where.
• Karma is an important feature that rates users on their productivity on WareNET, whether is be from chatting or sharing.
• Ranks are what determines each level a user is and how important they are.
• User Groups control a users permissions throughout WarezNET.

Sharing

Guides have been created to help you learn how to share on WarezNET. The more you share, the more karma you will gain and you will more likely gain Full Member access.

• Post a download - a guide to posting a normal link on WarezNET.
• Post a torrent - a guide to posting your torrents on WarezNET/WNTorrents. You need special access to upload torrents.
• Proving Group (FXP) - information about the Proving Group
• Ways to Contribute - this guide lists a number of ways that you can contribute and gain karma on WarezNET.

User CP

• Your Subscription is what keeps your membership active. When your subscription expires you can no longer login.
• Donating to WarezNET help us pay the server bills and gives you greater access to WarezNET
• Your settings can be edited to change the appearance and change the functionality of WarezNET for you.
• Your Profile is what other members can see about you. You can update it and make it more interesting.
• Invites can be sent to other people so they can gain membership to WarezNET for free.

Other

• Rules of WarezNET are what all members are required to adhere to. This helps the site run smoothly.
• IRC is the main chat and socializing area for WarezNET. The main chat channel is #wareznet.chat
• WarezNET Gaming is a subsite of WarezNET dedicated to gaming and online gaming.
• Radio is a pirate radio station. It's currently down until Fall 2008.
• Toplist is a list of links to other warez sites, though none compare to WarezNET.
