This page is to help new users understand how to navigate WarezNET. All the diagrams are in the Wired template which is the default. The other templates have a similar navigation with minor differences.

The Home Page
The home page is the home page of WarezNET where the latest news is posted along with links to the other sections of WarezNET.
The Forum Index Page
The forum index is the home of the forum. It has a welcome panel with some userful links. Below this are the latest announcements that have been made that users should read (these aren't always here and only appear when a new announcement is posted). Version 4.1.2 saw the introduction of the "Top" feature which appears under the welcome panel and displays the latest topics, downloads, torrents and users. The diagram below explains the index navigation.
Viewing Forums
Once you click on the forum link you will be viewing the forum. This will still display announcements and sub-forums which work in the same way as the forum index, and both will be displayed at the top of the page. Below these are the list of topics within the forum. If the forum is a download forum then there will be a New download button, otherwise there will be a New topic button if you wish to post a new discussion topic. On download forums there will also be a download type selection tool next to the forum name. Below is a diagram of the view forum page.
The topic type donates whether the topic is either and Announcement, Sticky topic or normal topic. Sticky topics are usually more important and should be read by users reading/posting in this forum. The topic icon is important in download forums as it shows which type of download the topic is, in normal discussion forums the icon is relatively meaningless.
Viewing Topics
When a topic is loaded it will list a number of posts. The posts will be in a format as shown below:
On the left it shows which user posted the post and gives relevant details about this user, including their karma. If you click on the username, you will be taken to their profile. The main body of the post message is in the center of the post and the subject and post time is viewed just about that. Underneath the post message is the users signature, which is the posters personal message added to their posts. Below the signature are links to user details such as the instant message accounts, e-mail details and you can search their posts. In the top right of the post is the users avatar, which is simply a graphic to identify the user. Next to that are post options which include links to replying to the topic with a quote, reporting the post and e-mailing the post to a friend. There are also handy bookmark links.
Header Navigation
The header is constant throughout WarezNET and is probably the most important navigation tool:
The navigation buttons link you to the main areas of WarezNET. There are bookmark links so you can bookmark WarezNET. There is a quick search box in the top right corner next to the skin changer so you can change the skin on WarezNET at any time.
Jump to menu
At the bottom of topics, forums and certain pages there is a forum Jump to box, which when selected will jump you to the forum of your choice.
