WarezNET:Posting a download
From Wiki
Under Construction
Before you do anything you must decide if you want kind of file that you want to add to Wareznet (an Application, Game, Movie/TV, Music/MP3, Console, E-Books, Anime, Public FTP, Private FTP, or Freeware). For time sake and the fact that we do not need to make this page extremely long, this tutorial will be involving uploading an application.

Where to Begin
To post a download for that certain file (this case Application), go to that section of the forum and click on the Add Download tab. This is found between the Section name and the actual beginning of the forum. (Refer to the location of the red box in the picture above if confused.)
Five Sections
Clicking the Add Download tab will bring you to a new page similar to the picture above. The information needed to add a download to the forum is broken down into 8 parts. I’ll explain each part in appearance order here:
Release Name : This is where you put the archive name of the item you want to upload. It is frowned upon in the community to add the letter v in the download, ex. Limewire v3.2 should be Limewire 3.2. Also if the archive includes a serial, patch or crack then that should be included in the Download name, ex Limewire 3.2 should be (if crack is included) Limewire 3.2 Incl Crack. This is interchangeable with the other types, Incl Serial, Incl Crack, etc.
Type : Using the drop down menu, you select the location of where you uploaded the file. This is used to add the correct icon to the download post.
Download Name : This is auto filled when you type in the Release Name.
Size : This is the size of the archive in Megabytes. If there are multiple archives, then you can either put fill in the box with the total number of megabytes or if all the archives have the same file size then you can type it in as how many files times the file size of a archive. (Example, 5 archive with the file size of 5 mbs would look like 5x5mb)
NFO Link : If it is a scene release then the archive usually includes a NFO. If you find a link that directs you to the NFO online, then this is where you put the link. This section is not required but makes your post look nicer.
Description : This is where you tell the community about the file. The more specific you are about what the file does; they more likely the users in the community will download it. Any links that you put in this box must be enclosed with the code tag. ( Example, [code]http://www.wareznet.net[/code] , Since Wiki is does not use BBcode which is the code the forum uses, it does not appear correctly on here, but as long as you add the code tags it will appear correctly in the post. DO NOT POST YOUR DOWNLOAD LINKS IN THIS BOX
Links : This is where you put the links to the file that you uploaded to be downloaded by the community.
Forced Thank You
Force "Thank you" : Use this if you want to protect your files. By clicking the check box, you prevent users from seeing your links by simply looking at your post. The user must hit the thank you button found at the top right hand corner of your post. This helps you keep track of who looked at your post and if it is possibly reported you know who might have reported your link.
Generate Subject and Message : By clicking this all the information that you put into the sections above are brought together along with some code and appears in the boxes below.
Final Product Before Generation
This is an example of the information that should be filled in. Notice how I put a link in the Description box and used the code tag as mentioned earlier.
Final Product After Generation
Once you hit the Generate Subject Message the box below should be filled similar to the example above
Further Example Code
[b]Download:[/b] Release Name [b]Release:[/b] Release Name [b]Description:[/b] Type Your Description Here [b]Download:[/b] [thanks][code]Link Goes Here[/code][/thanks] [b]Size:[/b] ## MB/GB [b]NFO:[/b] http://nfo.link [size=9][i]For search engine[/i]Release Name[/size]
The code that was generated in the Description box should look similar to the text above.
End Result
The final result should look similar to the picture above.
